Bishop Dominic Kimengich of the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret has called upon the Catechists to steer ahead Christians along the salvation path.
In his homily during the feast day of Saint Charles Borromeo who is the patron saint of catechists at the cathedral grounds the Bishop called upon catechist’s to emulate their patron saint who dedicated himself through poverty so as to lead the flock to the path of salvation.
He further called upon them to lead by examples by living in the sacramental life by asking those who have not dedicated their marriage to Christ to speedily do so.
