catholic Diocese of Nyeri has Launched a kitty that will cater for the families that are affected by starvation in the next two Months.
arch Bishop Of Nyeri Anthony Muheria said that aim is to raise 50 Million shillings that will cater for the families affected within seven counties mainly Nyeri, Marsabit, Isiolo, Kitui, Makueni, Laikipia and Samburu.
The Bishop stated that they intend to involve the national government and non governmental organizations to ensure that this becomes a reality as the country wait for harvest in other parts of the country.
this comes barely two days after KCCB called on Kenyans and well-wishers together with the government to support the families that are affected by famine across the country
